課程目標:Course objectives: This is an advanced course which builds on the basic writing skills (such as exposition, writing about texts and across different media, documentation, and argumentation) and develop them in such a way that research will be able to engage with specific praxises, textual, creative, professional, media-relative and interdisciplinary. To do so, the instructor will develop specific writing exercises, themes and cases.

評量配分比重: Work for the course: 1. Course attendance & weekly written exercises: 35% Students are expected (i) to attend class weekly, and (ii) to engage and participate actively in each weekly written research exercise. 2. Midterm research report assignment: 30% Students are expected to hand in a midterm written assignment which will involve an exemplification of course skills and themes. The instructor will provide a list of points and writing research strategies to consider for the midterm essay. 3. Final research report assignment: 35% Students are expected to hand in a final written assignment based on skills and themes addressed in the second half of the semester. The instructor will provide a list of points and writing research strategies from which the student can select to prepare the final assignment. Weekly attendance, engagement in written exercises, and careful analysis of references are all necessary to get ready for the midterm and final assignment.
