The English Department of National Central University announces a position opening for a full-time Assistant Professor (or above) beginning in Fall 2027. We are seeking candidates who can contribute to our department’s distinctive focus on Critical Anglophone Studies, which interrogates the global circulation of English through post-colonial and geo-political lenses. While we are accepting applications in all areas of literary and cultural studies, we especially welcome scholars engaged in cutting-edge interdisciplinary research that transgresses traditional regional and period boundaries. Bilingual proficiency (English and Mandarin) is a plus.
